Eric runs a toy robot company called Modular Robotics. In 2008-2009 he was a Visiting Scientist at the Cornell Computational Synthesis Lab in Ithaca, New York. In 2008, he finished his PhD from the Computational Design Laboratoryat Carnegie Mellon University where he worked on roBlocks and the Erstwhile Agent, an evolutionary design program for modular robotic constructions.
